Moshe Kassirer is an Israeli artist known for his unique blend of naturalism, cultural symbolism, and modern artistic techniques. 

Kassirer paints scenes from his immediate environment, the Galilee; where he lives and works for the past ten years. 
His subjects are consistent: farmers working the land, olive and pomegranate groves throughout the seasons, olive harvest after the first rain, winding country roads.

Artists such as Reuven Rubin and Nachum Gutman have been a source of inspiration for Moshe's work. They were considered the "Rebellious Current" of their time;

He corresponded with the Israeli painters of the 1930’s and 50’s such as Reuven Rubin, Moshe Castel, Nahum Guttmann and others.
